My practice is focused on designing buildings and landscapes that are simultaneously profound and playful. The nuances of daily life inform my work, allowing spaces to organically unfold in ways that are as reliably robust as they are exciting in their unpredictability.

I understand the importance of practicing domestic rituals with ease. My attention to detail is reflected in every step of the consultation, design and construction process. Millimetres matter to me because they create poetic experiences.

I see potential in simple spaces, where the ordinary is elevated to the extraordinary through unexpected use of materials.

I reference historical traditions in art and architecture but I turn them on their head, juggling schools of thought with the creative possibilities each site presents.

I meticulously work with my clients to reframe the edges of their lived routines, to explore vitality in the way they conduct their daily rituals, and create spaces for them that have the potential to enrich their lives.

The structures I design are unmistakably contemporary, yet sensitive without being overly pretentious, timeless in their capacity to absorb and refract design trends that come and go, creating buildings for life. I believe this is true sustainability.
